Based on a short story by Mario Tofano. Jake and Alexa are introduced to each other by mutual friends. Saying almost nothing to each other the two communicate a lifetime of feelings through facial expressions and body language. The short story contains their inner dialog and conflict with themselves as they try to talk themselves both into and out of being in love.
Jake: 20′s/30′s Romantic, philosophical, self-conflicted. He’s been burned by love before and wonders if this could really be happening?
Alexa: 20′s/30′s High spirited, determined, sensitive. Wants to fall madly in love but is this the right guy?
