Special Notes: This a very large scale short film production, and the finished film will be submitted to the Sundance Film Festival. The entire crew is extremely professional and we are looking for talented actors to fill these roles. The piece is very edgy, but the characters are extremely powerful and any working actor would love to sink their teeth into this material.
Casting:
Old Charles: male, 60-65 years old, Caucasian. He is worn, but has hard, and sharp features, and expressionless eyes. He is very powerful and wealthy. He has pepper and salt hair, and is a very pensive man. Lead. Prototype: David Strathairn
Mindy: female, late 20’s-early 30’s, Caucasian. She is a natural beauty, not a Barbie, has blue eyes, and acts like a little girl in a woman’s body. Her beauty is on the inside, which translates onto her face, and her actions. She is the proverbial Eve and OLD CHARLES is Adam. She is his muse, his beginning, his end, and his demise. She is free spirited, and loves Old Charles. Prototype: Milla Jovovich, Marisa Tomei
Henri: male, 40-50 years old, Caucasian. He always wears a very classy dark suit, and has pepper and salt hair, and his features are hard and stern. He doesn’t show any outward signs of wealth, but is very powerful and knows it. Strong Supporting. Prototype: John Glover
