STORY LINE: A romantic tragidy about a woman who
rushes into marriage with a
mysterious artist and slowly discovers that not
everything he told her about
himself is true. CANDLELIT DAYS examines the frailty
of trust, the insidious
nature of doubt, and how little we really know another
person.
Original screenplay being workshopped in directing
class at LACC. Two short
scenes to be presented in front of 25 up-and-coming
directors on March 15,
then filmed on March 17 & 18
Seeking-
SARAH: Lead. Female, 22 to 30. Ivy educated,
attractive, trusting. Lawyer
turned actress insecure about her talent. 28 but looks
younger.
MALCOLM: Lead. Male, 22 to 30. Mysterious poet &
artist. Exciting,
charismatic, with an edge. 22 but passes himself off
as older.
TURBO: Co-star. Male, 22 to 30. Good-natured. Kind of
guy who goes out on a
limb for a friend. Multi-tattoed with distinguishing
tattoo on wrist or
forearm.
