STORY LINE: Introducing BANG – A black comedy that
happens to be about sex.
It’s not a sex film. It’s not meant to be titillating;
There will be nothing
sexually explicit about it. It’s about sex as it takes
place between the
ears. Bang is meant to be funny and sad, in an
unflinching, naked sort of
way. It’s not pornography. It’s dark comedy with a
human center. In BANG, we
follow the lives of several seemingly unrelated
characters as their odd and
dysfunctional stories unfold. In the end they all come
together in a
shocking and surprising fashion and their interlocking
fantasies become a
nightmare. Any story which centers on sex is likely to
make some readers
uncomfortable. So please set aside your inhibitions
for a moment let your
imagination run free, and welcome to reality of BANG.

Seeking-

LARRY: Male, 60, a pothead, always wears shorts and
sandals. He is the guy
that talks until he works out what he is trying to
say, a bit too much pot
has given him a vague ADD quality and a permanent
“Cheshire Cat” vibe. He is
an LA-based adult filmmaker, and he has a great
product. His sexy young
wife, Jewel is the apple in every man’s eye. He has a
successful website, a
string of Jewel adult films, and is planning a record
breaking film
extravaganza featuring his ever-ready wife and her
legions of fans. He is
sitting on a money making mint, and he has a couple of
great ideas that will
let him retire sooner rather than later and he is
excited to see those ideas
reach fruit. LEAD ROLE – STAR NAMES ONLY

BILL: Male, mid 50’s, crew cut, quiet, pushover type.
He projects an air of
a confident businessman and father to his intimate
circle, but when alone,
he is lost, numb, and immobilized by his failures. He
is the walking midlife
crisis on the edge of a personal meltdown. His wife
barely tolerates his
performance in bed, and his daughter seems like a
spoiled princess for whom
he does everything. He uses an internet porn website
as his escape,
fantasizing that Jewel will take him away from it all,
that with Jewel
everything is going to be all right. As this story
unravels, so does Bill.

JEWEL: Female, early 20s. Sexy, voluptuous internet
and direct video porn
star. She is her producer and manager Larry’s wife.
Nothing fazes this girl.
She is never upset or angry or hyper. She has sex and
she plays monopoly.
She is completely at ease with her life and the hoards
of men she attracts

JERRY: Male, late 20s – 30s, a hapless entrepreneur, a
wannabe porn star.
Having had a great chance to work in adult film as one
of Jewel’s lovers in
her latest internet film, Jerry is inspired to pursue
his career as a sex
object full time. He has ideas for his own website, he
tries to maintain his
relationship with Jewel and Larry, he meets with
people who are looking to
spice up their own sex lives. The only problem is, he
cannot maintain an
erection. Jerry’s penis is not on the same page and
Jerry is fed up! This is
a very funny role that needs strong comedic skills.

DENNIS: Male, Mid 30’s, soft features. There is a
sense that Dennis is used
to feeling, if not actually being, invisible. He is a
video editor and mass
production coordinator at the local video duplication
house. He is mild
mannered and quiet and he is in a very solid
relationship with a plastic
girl doll. He lives alone with his doll and keeps to
himself. But then he
sees Jewel and his world is rocked. It is true love.
LEAD ROLE.

PAUL: Male, Early 30’s, thin face. Paul is in a
committed relationship,
lives a regular life, pays his bills on time. Even
though he loves his
girlfriend and their sex life is healthy, he has a
fantasy of watching her
have sex with another man. At this point in their
relationship, we watch
them as they go through the awkwardness of setting
such a scenario into
gear, and when it finally occurs, what that fantasy
does to PAUL and to his
relationship. Sometimes the fantasy should stay a
fantasy. Some people can’t
handle the reality of it. LEAD ROLE

JENNY: Female, late 20s – early 30s. She is Paul’s
girlfriend and is a very
self realized modern woman who is a great catch for
any man. She is
confident, smart, pretty, spikey haired, a woman who
is secure enough in her
relationship to explore the fantasies that come up,
and smart enough to keep
it from happening for as long as possible. NUDITY IS
OPEN TO DISCUSSION -
LEAD ROLE.

DEREK: Male, late 20s – 30s. A very kind, handsome,
surfer-looking guy. He
sleeps with Jenny while PAUL watches. He is cool,
confident, and great in
bed. He is every girl’s dream boyfriend (if you dream
of Jack Kerouac on the
road) and PAUL’s worst nightmare… he can never
recover from watching jenny
with this champion dream guy. GREAT CAMEO ROLE.

LORI: Female, early 20’s, an attractive young woman,
but packages it in a
skanky sort of way. She is lazy, and she is looking
for a low impact life.
She meets with Jerry at his condo and interviews to be
Jerry’s sex slave.
During the interview, it becomes clear that she was
hoping to meet a rich
man that will take care of her and that Jerry’s condo
and lifestyle is not
up to Lori’s standards. GREAT CAMEO ROLE.

SUSAN: Female, 40s, a bit overweight. She wears
clothes that are too tight
and too low cut. She also auditions to be Jerry’s sex
slave. She is
completely willing to play the slave role, as long a
it doesn’t conflict
with her day job and her two teenage kids’ schedules.
She talks and talks
about the mundane to the point that when she throws
her back out crawling
towards Jerry, he sees the opportunity to escort her
out of the interview.
