Rogue Artists Ensemble, the creators of the critically acclaimed Mr. Punch, announces auditions for their newest Hyper-theatrical work, Gogol Project written by Kitty Felde with music by Ego Plum, opening at Bootleg Theater on September 25th. This project combines mask work, silent characters, movement, puppetry, digital media and effects to bring three of Russian ‘realist’ Nicolai Gogol’s tales to life.
This is a 99 seat equity-waiver production and all cast members will be paid at the same rate. This production is produced in collaboration with Bootleg Theater.
Breakdown: Actors with unusual talents, movement experience, etc are encouraged to apply. In addition to the main roles there are supporting and character roles as well.
