Actors Needed for USC Student Film Voodoodilia [working title]
Voodoodilia is the story of a young woman called Melanie with a made-up disease called voodoodilia. Because of Melanie’s condition, when she sees something happen to inanimate object, the same thing will happen to her. Melanie falls in love with a jazz pianist because it is thrilling for her to watch him play the piano. She feels like she is the piano while he is playing.
This is nonpaid. Hot meals and beverages will be provided during production. All talent will receive a copy of the DVD upon completion.
Shooting will take place in the Los Angeles area, sometime during the weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) of July 10th, July 17th and July 24th, depending on the schedules of the various people involved. Shooting will take about three days.
Casting:
Melanie Brookes: A beautiful woman in her early 20s. Very good with physical acting.
The Pianist: An attractive, artistic man in his 20s. Experience with piano and/or harmonica is a plus, but not required.
