Open auditions will be held at the theatre on Sunday, Aug 23rd, 7PM-9PM, and Monday, Aug 24th, 7PM-9PM. Callbacks will be held on Tuesday, Aug 25th, if needed.
No appointment necessary.
Auditioners need to prepare one Contemporary song and another Rock in style with the show. Bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided. No CD’s please. For Rock selection, you may sing a capella. Please bring a non-returnable headshot and your resume.
Rehearsals start on August 31st, days to be determined. Be ready to work Monday thru Thursday with some weekends including every night & weekend 2weeks prior to opening. Please have all contracts ready to be presented.
Cast will include 11 Actor/Singer/Dancers with no age or gender requirements. This show is rated PG-13, no children please.
The following roles are available:
• Dr. Frank-N-Furter: A scientist. Frank is a devious and flamboyant, transvestite scientist.
• Janet Weiss: A heroine. Sweet and somewhat naïve, she is recently engaged to Brad and succumbs to temptation.
• Brad Majors: A hero. The clean-cut fiancé of Janet Weiss. Awkward and out of step, he finds himself in situations never before experienced
• Riff-Raff: A handyman. Frank’s minion and Magenta’s brother.
• Magenta: A domestic. Magenta, the sister of Riff-Raff, is Frank’s maid.
• Columbia: A groupie. Columbia is the groupie, friend and self proclaimed lover of Frank, but also formerly involved with Eddie.
• Dr. Everett Scott: A rival scientist. He was Brad and Janet’s high school science teacher. He has come to the castle in search of his nephew Eddie, who has been murdered by Frank.
• Rocky Horror: A Muscle-bound creation of Frank’s, with blond hair and a tan, Rocky is mute except for his musical numbers.
• Eddie: An ex-delivery boy and Columbia’s former boyfriend, provided cerebral material for Rocky.
