We would ideally like to hire actors who are emancipated or over 18 to play younger, however it is open to all actors who can play the stated age. Include date of birth for minors.

This project is based on the Payton Skky and Laurel Shadrach teenage Christian book series’ by Stephanie Perry Moore.

The executive assistant to Tammy Garnes will put actors on tape if selected in Dallas, Texas and Little Rock, Arkansas.

[PAYTON SKKY] African American female, 16 years old, high school cheerleader who is self-assured, focused and cool. LEAD
[LAUREL SHADRACH] Caucasian female, 16 years old, high school gymnast who is slightly outgoing, confident and friendly. LEAD
[BRANSON PRICE] Caucasian male, 17 years old, Laurel’s boyfriend, is a cocky but cute high school quarterback. SUPPORTING
[DAKARI GRAHAM] African American male, 17 years old, he has an out of sight body, he’s stubborn yet sweet. He is a high school running back. SUPPORTING
[BRITTANY COX] Caucasian female, 16 years old, extremely attractive girl that is Laurel’s so-called best friend and the captain of the cheerleading squad. SUPPORTING
[LYNZI BROWN] African American female,16 years old, she is Payton’s best friend who gets her into trouble. SUPPORTING
[CHETT FRANKLIN] Caucasian male, 17 years old, he loves to do everything that is bad for him. SUPPORTING
[BAM KING] African American male, 17 years old, he becomes Dakari’s sidekick, who wants to be more popular than he is. He is very fit and is on the junior varsity football team. SUPPORTING
[DYMOND DIXON] African American female, she’s 16 years old, plump, rather ghetto fashionista, from the projects, smart as a whip and keep Payton in check. SUPPORTING

STORY LINE: Georgia Sky parallels the lives of a 16 year old African American female and a 16 year old Caucasian female, set in 2008 Georgia. Same cities, different high schools and a never ending amount of drama. Both young women are struggling with growing up in a Christian environment and dealing with the pressures of being in high school, parents, friends and siblings. It is the story of how they deal with the choices they make.
