Private Auditions for Feature Film D.I.N.K.s (Frankfort, IL)
D.I.N.K.s (Double Income – No Kids) is a contemporary dark comedy about a struggling freelance writer who finds success when he begins writing articles about the bias and discriminating behavior of the parents in the predominately, family-oriented community where he and his wife live.

Leading Role:
Richard Brooks (35-45) Richard is a witty freelance writer who has fame thrown into his lap when his articles about parent without kids find a cult following.
Supporting Roles:
Beth – Rachel’s mother (55-65) A woman deeply disappointed that her daughter has decided not to have children.
Mrs. Dover (35-45) The Mother of a boy who lives across the street from the Brooks.
Kyle’s Mother (30-40) The woman that Richard looses his temper with in the coffee shop.
The Mayor’s Secretary (40-50) A woman who works for the Mayor and supports him.
Mr. & Mrs. Allan (30′s) Two DINKs who attend the first large DINKs rally.
Mr. Hanson (65-75) Oldest attendee at the DINKs rally.
Announcer (30-40) The man / woman who introduces Richard and conducts the Q&A at the DINKs rally.
Allison (25-35) One of the first female DINKs to speak at the rally.
Harlan Avery (40-50) A well dressed business man who speaks at the DINKs rally.
Nancy Roberts (30-40) TV Anchor woman who interviews Richard.
John Samson (40-50) TV Anchor man who also interviews Richard.
Interviewer (25-40) The person conducting the on-going interview with Richard throughout the film.
Featured Extra’s & Extra’s of all kinds will be needed for many scenes.
