Chicago Casting Call
Film Series Seeks Child Talent
The film series tentatively titled Parables is holding an open audition for children in the greater Chicago area between the ages of 8 and 17 on Saturday, November 6th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Each short film in the 12-part series is a modern day retelling of a biblical parable and will be used as a modernized teaching tool for Sunday school teachers as well as general educational entertainment for children. Episodes focus on real issues that the teen community deals with on a regular basis such as bullying, cheating, peer pressure, and obesity.
Episodes 1 through 6 have already been filmed, and some of the young cast can be seen on major networks. We are casting for multiple roles for the next 6 episodes, which we plan to shoot early next year or late this year at various locations across the Midwest.
In order to audition, send headshot and resume via submission form below to receive your audition time and more detailed instructions. All parents must submit headshot and resume in advance as slots are limited. For more information regarding this project, visit www.watchparables.com, where you can also watch clips of previous episodes. The location of the auditions will be emailed to those after submission to avoid overbooking audition slots.
