Casting Notice: Singer/Comedienne for Variety Show (Chicago, IL)
Houlihan Creative is casting a voluptuous Santa’s helper for their show
“A Houli-Dooley Christmas” starring Mike Houlihan and The Dooley
Brothers band at The Irish American Heritage Center Saturday night Dec. 19th 8PM, one night only.
The gig will require four rehearsals leading up to the performance night.
The pay is negotiable.
The Ghost of Christmas Past is a statuesque knockout dressed in red velvet
with white fur trim Santa type costume. The show is an evening of stories from Mike Houlihan and songs from the Dooley Brothers.
The show is modeled on the old Bob Hope Variety shows, which featured starlets like Jill St. John, Lana Turner, Janet Leigh, Raquel Welch, Inger Stevens, etc. flirting and cutting up with the guys.
ACTRESS should be 25-45, attractive, comedienne. If you can sing, we can probably work in a song or two for you in the show. Most important is sense of fun and improv ability, we will put the show together quickly and we need somebody who can roll with us.

Auditions will be scheduled and rehearsals will take p lace at the Irish American Heritage Center, 4626 North Knox, Chicago.
This is an opportunity to be the featured female in an old time variety show with vaudeville format.
