Seeking 1 male who can pass for 18-21, James Dean/Brando type, deeply troubled, needing love, drug-addicted for lead in a non-union short film.
Also seeking 1 female who can play 14-16, and 1 male 40s-50s for a world premiere reading of the new play Echo by award-winning playwright Barbara Lhota. The 14-year-old character is autistic and the actress must not be afraid to sing or mimic sounds. The actress must be skilled at expressing herself through movement and nonverbal communication.
Additionally, we are seeking a Filipino/Asian boy who can pass for 15-19 and a man mid-40s to late-50s who is comfortable playing a gay man for leads in a non-union short film.
Auditions are Saturday 8/15 at 10:30am. A contemporary monologue, no longer than one-minute, is preferred but not required. Be prepared to cold read from the scripts.
