Casting Call for Short Film “Easter Sunday” – Evanston, IL
Casting Call Details:
Northwestern filmmaker, Joseph Capuana, is looking for actors of Italian-American appearance for his short film, “Easter Sunday.” The roles that need to be filled are as follows:
AUNT – 40s or 50s. A gaudy, loud, conservative woman. She’s the most opinionated member of the family.
GRANDPA – 60s-80s, a loud, Italian immigrant who wears his heart on his sleeves. He’s a bit grumpy and more whiney (and lonely) now that his wife of 50 years has passed.
Auditions will be held next Wednesday (1/23) and tentatively Friday (1/25), so contact ASAP if interested in auditioning. Attach a HEADSHOT and RESUME.
Please prepare one monologue, but know that you may be asked to read only sides.
