Auditioning Adults and Kids for “The Christmas Schooner” – Chicago, IL

Announcing Auditions for TesserAct Theatre Ensemble’s November production of “The Christmas Schooner” at Cutting Hall, Monday & Tuesday, August 30 & 31.

Auditions begin at 6:30pm and continue until 9pm each evening. You are welcome to come any time before 8:30pm during the mentioned times and we will see people in the order in which they arrive. Callbacks are Wednesday, September 1.

Bring a song to sing, with sheet music in your key (16 bars) & 1 minute monologue or story, memorized if you want a part. We really need to see your stage presence & how you handle a character with a story to tell. Also, please be prepared to sing or read from the show. (You may or may not be asked to do this).

THE SHOW

November 19 – 28 – The Christmas Schooner
Moving true story about the captain who decided to sail treacherous Lake Michigan in November to bring Christmas trees to Chicago. Compelling script, beautiful storytelling & incredible music.
