Casting call for a psychological thriller/horror feature film (Toronto, ON)
Casting call for an indie psychological thriller/horror feature film. This film will be one of the first independent productions filmed entirely with the Canon 7D slr camera.
Plot Synopsis:
A young man, David, takes in his estranged younger brother, James, hoping to rebuild their relationship. However, David begins to have frightening visions and slowly loses his perception of reality. Even the one woman he loves most, Marie, seems to be slipping away. In order to save his sanity, David must delve deep into reasons of his brother’s return. Is James the cause of David’s gradual descent into madness? As David learns more about James, Marie, and himself, he realizes that there is a darker, more shocking truth.
We are currently looking for actors to fill these roles:
James (early/mid 20’s, caucasian, brown hair, blue eyes)- The brother of the protagonist, David.
Eddie (early/mid 20’s, caucasian) – The best friend of David.
Mrs. Sunderland (mid 50’s/early 60’s, caucasian, blonde hair – The mother of Marie
Dad (mid 50’s/early 60’s, caucasian, brown hair) – The father of David and James
Filming will begin in late January/Early February. Production will last for approximately a month, filming a few days a week. We are planning to submit this film to the Toronto After Dark film festival 2011.
