Open Casting Call for “A Streetcar Named Desire”
Continuity Theatre and Dance Company is holding Open Call Auditions for its production of A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams.
When and Where: February 6, 12-3pm at the Dance Complex, 536 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02139-4029. Please check in at front desk.
Show Dates: April 22-24 at The Outpost 186, Cambridge MA (Inman Sq.)
Preparation: We are looking for strong Male and Female actors (9+), non-union, for an intimate production in Cambridge. Please bring your headshot and resume and prepare a 2-minute monologue, sides will be provided.
A Streetcar Named Desire has been made famous by the deep character study in which we watch the sanity of the tragically flawed characters disappear and mask reality under what is a “normal” middleclass/poor life; it was this intriguing production that put Marlon Brando on the map with his famous words of “Stella”.
Continuity is an emerging company committed to providing the community with professional and entertaining performance in which the audience can make a meaningful connection through the art of theatre and dance.
