Open auditions are being scheduled for CALLING HOME, a DV web series scheduled to launch in March 2008.
Six episodes are to be shot between February and May 2008 at Arlington Studios in the Boston area. (with possibly more episodes to come). This is a non-union production. No pay (as of yet) but great exposure and opportunity.
CALLING HOME is a drama of an US Army soldier’s webcam conversations with his family back home.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWNS:
Angelo — Male, 19, Nicaraguan-American, Army soldier currently stationed in Iraq.
Diego — Male, 16, Nicaraguan-American, Angelo’s brother and anti-war protester.
Emilio — Male, 39, Nicaraguan, landscaper, Angelo’s father.
Auditions will be held Thursday, February 14, 4-7pm @ Arlington Studios (85 Park Avenue, Arlington, MA)
