Open Casting Call for Feature Film “Mary Loss Of Soul” – Boston, MA

Casting Call Details:
OakIvy, LLC is a newly formed independent film production company based in Los Angeles and Boston, with principals who’ve worked in Hollywood—including as VP of Creative at Universal Pictures—for over 20 years. A production date is set for April 29-May 17, 2013 in Massachusetts to film MARY LOSS OF SOUL, a clever supernatural suspense/thriller feature film.

This is a SAGIndie contract (ultra low budget). OakIvy Productions will work with both union and nonunion actors. With beautifully delineated characters and a genre-bending plot, the producers are looking to cast both well-known actors, and several fresh-faced undiscovered talents.

Mary Solis age 15 (actresses true ages 14-20) slender, attractive, must be able to dance and have a dancer’s figure

Sophia Solis age 6 (actresses ages 5-8)

Gina Solis ages 35-45, slender, fit, attractive

Victor Solis ages 35-45, tall, good-looking

A.J. age 16 (actors ages 16-25) tall, good-looking

Trice Hovey (actresses 40-65) earthy, medium build, “healer attitude”

Jocelyn age 15 (actresses ages 15-20) punk/goth style, moppy hair, piercings, bring “attitude”

Leanne age 15 (actresses ages 15-20) slender, attractive, blonde, dancer’s body

Martin age 80 (actors ages 65-85)

Detective O’Hagan (actors ages 40-55)

Dr. Gargiulo (actors ages 40-55)

Babysitter (actresses ages 15-20)

There are other parts for police officers (some speaking), an older man or woman in their 60s-80s (also speaking) and other roles as well for young dancers as extras.

Story Summary: Part of Mary’s soul has been ripped from her body. After vanishing from her family’s lake house, the 15 year-old returns without any memory of the traumatic events she experienced. Even while a nefarious mystery surrounds its circumstance—and a wrathful spirit begins haunting them—the Solis family’s biggest fear is watching Mary unbecome. And knowing they must find her soul before time runs out.
