DAVID – (Caucasian, 55-65) – Former bugler at a horse track. Experience playing a trumpet is helpful but not necessary. He’s an outsider/loner. He’s rough around the edges, doesn’t shave often, and is overall unhealthy (but not fat). He has been away from the track for several years, and he misses it.
$500/day (5 day shoot)

MIGUEL- (Latino, 30-40) Sells Racing Forms. Short & thin. Perhaps was a former jockey. He is a gambler and has little interest in people, unless they want to pay him for a good betting tip. He spends his time at work picking horses instead of selling papers.
$100/day (1 day shoot)

JOHN (Caucasian, 55-65) Track bartender. He has been working at the track as long as anyone. He’ll refuse to serve anyone a drink he doesn’t want to make, but it’s probably because he doesn’t know how to make it. He’s grown disillusioned with the track and horse racing, and feels like it’s a matter of time before he is replaced. He has an opinion on practically everything, but he’s not a great conversationalist.
$100/day (1 day shoot)
