Casting call for feature film “Dismal Creek”
Washington, DC Metro Area Feature Film (SAG Indie Ultra Low Budget
Union and Non-Union) MCMFILMS is accepting submissions from metro
Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD talent for: “DISMAL CREEK” a feature
film.
All Roles will be compensated.
Overview: MCMFILMS in Washington, D.C. is producing a thriller/horror film in the tradition of Wolf Creek and The Missing, about six friends who go camping in the Appalachian Mountains never to return.
Note:
If you have submitted for this project in the past, please do not
re-submit. Additionally you must be in good to excellent condition as
the roles will require a great deal of hiking, running and some
tumbling and climbing.
Female characters must be comfortable with
partially nudity, which will shot in a tasteful and professional
manner.

The Hikers:
Sarah: 21-26. Cool, Bossy and Striking presence
Gina: 21-26. Focused, Lawyer type, Beautiful.
Page: 21-2 6 Free spirt, Ethnic beauty, brave heart
Vivian: 21-26 Bold, fearless and Classic
Randy: 21-26 Frat boy looks, aloof, self centered.
Mark: 21-26 Frat boy looks, worrier and clownish.
Ranger Bill: 38-45, Seasoned Ranger, Kevin Costner type.
Ranger Joey: 28-32, Nerdy, Nice looking, “green-horn” type
Agent Sanchez: 30-35, Male or Female F.B.I. Athletic, 5′6-5′11
Agent Roberts: 30-35, Male, Seasoned, 5 10″-6ft William Peterson Type.
Additional Roles: F.B.I. Agents, State Police Officers 30-45 yrs old
Shooting is currently scheduled for Summer/Fall 2009 in the Washington, DC area.
