SYNOPSIS:
The Devil’s got game and a reluctant priest plays him to save a man’s
soul. The only way to get it back, is to beat the devil at basketball.
Fighting Devils is Silent Runs fifth short film and we’re looking
forward to working with some new talent around Austin. Fighting Devils
will be one of our shorts we will submit into festivals in 2010.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWNS:
The Devil
Tall 5’8 to 6’5 male. Athletic build. Basketball skills preferred.
Devil
Female. Will be required to run up and down the court in a baseball tee and towel shorts. Basketball skills preferred.
Devil
Tall Tall Tall. We’re looking for someone at least 6’3 to 7’0. Athletic build.
Priest
Mid 20’s to mid 30’s. Male. Athletic.
Jacob
Punk rock/heavy metal type. Mid-twenties.
Also, we’re looking for a local punk band to do a “cameo” of sorts. We
will come in, shoot where you rehearse. Also in addition to the cameo,
any songs for the soundtrack would be wonderful.
This is a non-paid gig. Snacks and beverages will be provided on set.
You will get a DVD copy.
