feature shooting this march through may. Non-paid.
The film follows Lily who after discovering her girlfriend Sarah has
been unfaithful and is pregnant falls into a downward spiral of her own
doing. Haunted by images and things from her abusive past Lily tries to
hold onto what little hope she has left so she can see a new day.
Location: Austin, TX
Character breakdowns follow:
Lily (20’s)
Has a childlike innocence about the world, despite coming from a broken
home and running from an abusive father she has a youthful outlook on
the world. She can be emotional when things take a turn for the worse
but always has faith in herself when things get really bad.
Jimmy (20’s-40’s)
A combination of Tyler Durden from Fight Club and Alex from A Clockwork
Orange. Has many different sides to his facade. Always wears red suit
and walks with a cane. Chain smoker. He is the manifestation of Lily’s
hear and negativity. He humiliates, tortures, and degrades her while
acting as a beacon to her many misfortunes.
Audrey (18-22)
Naive, caring, insecure. Leeches and takes advantage of insecurity while
insecure herself. Very clingly takes advantage of any situation to gain
the upper hand. Comes off caring and sweet but can block people into
situations with her abusive con-artist boyfriend.
Chad (20’s)
Frat boy who parties a lot. Carefree guy who doesn’t take responsibility
for any of his action. Wears backwards cap and abercrombie attire.
Teenage Lily (18-20)
Teenage version of Lily mostly seen in flashbacks. Innocent, quiet and
naive. Abused by her father and other men. Constantly scared and hiding
from her father. Wears torn up clothes, very little make-up.
Actors/Actresses are required to commit to shooting on weekends through
mid march-may. Roles vary on which weekends. Lily required for entire shoot.
