Seeking actors for two student projects in Austin, TX
I’m a UT RTF student taking two different production classes this
semester. I’m going to have a double casting call so that I can cast
both of my upcoming projects at the same time. I need four actors total.
You can audition for one or both of the projects described below.
PROJECT A: Directing Workshop scene from “Good Luck Chuck”
This is a hilarious scene between Charlie & Stu when Stu talks Charlie
into taking advantage of his “curse”. If you haven’t seen the movie, try
not to watch it!
SEEKING:
Charlie: Male, 20-35, any ethnicity.
Stu: Male, 20-35, any ethnicity.
COMMITMENT:
1 Rehearsal during the week of September 14
In-Class Rehearsal Tuesday, September 22 between 6 & 9 PM
1-Day Shoot tentatively scheduled for Sunday, September 27
COMPENSATION: DVD copy, credit, meals
PROJECT B: 16 mm Short Film
This will be a very fun & different kind of project. It will be shot on
16 mm black & white film with no sync sound (no dialogue). Then it will
be converted to video and a soundtrack will be added.
SEEKING:
1 Male, 18-35, any ethnicity.
1 Female, 18-35, any ethnicity.
Because there is no sync sound, these actors need to be larger than
life, and able to tell a story with just expressions. Lots of physical,
over-the-top comedy involved.
COMMITMENT:
1-Day Shoot tentatively scheduled for Sunday, September 20
