Seeking actors for Short Thesis Film

Life During Death

A UT Undergraduate Short Thesis Film

Life During Death is a short film being made by a UT student for his
undergraduate thesis. It is a comedic farce about the interval time
between life and death. I like to think of it as if Larry David wrote
for the Twilight Zone. I am looking for one male actor and six female
actors.

Actor’s Audition is Thursday, March 20th from 6:00 to 10:00 PM at CMA
3.128 on UT Campus

Need:

1 MALE for the part of JOHNNY. Johnny is a cool guy who is very sure of
himself, confident and well liked. Aged 18-24.

1 FEMALE for the part of LAURA. Johnny’s guardian angel. She is very
calm and collected, but still able to deliver a good punch line. Aged 18-24.

1 FEMALE for the part of SARAH. A very sweet, innocent, loving girl that
loves her parents and America too. Fit, Caucasian, preferably tall, aged
18-24.

1 FEMALE for the part of ANDREA. A very bitter woman. Fit, Caucasian,
well built, muscular or stocky, preferably brown hair, aged 18-34. If
you have a mullet you will get this part.

1 FEMALE for the part of YOUNG ANDREA. Andrea as a child. Caucasian,
preferably brown hair, aged 5th to 8th grade. Any female kid will do.

1 FEMALE for the part of MADELINE. A fast talking valley girl. Very vain
and into herself. Fit, preferably blonde, aged 18-24. Ability to talk
fast a plus.

Requirements:
2-3 evening rehearsals for the main/ dialogue heavy parts during the
week of March 24th. Shooting will be the weekends of March 28th-30th and
April 4th-6th with possible shoots on Mondays. Not all actors will need
to be there at once and we are very flexible with schedules. Some parts
only require one day of shooting. Shooting will be in the morning to
afternoon.

Compensation:
DVD or miniDV copy of the final edited product. Food and drink for every
rehearsal and shoot.

If interested please email me, Kevin Ercoline, at kte64@mail.utexas.edu
or call at 214-566-7596 to set up an audition appointment. Walk-ins
welcome, but scheduled appointments are preferred.

*This film will be entered in the Austin Film Festival as well as other
film festivals
