Seeking actor for short film “Drought”
Short Film “Drought” casting call.
An ancient community, ravaged by a seven-year drought, wanders through
the desert in a constant search for water. A young man, Saul, faces a
test of faith when he becomes torn between the survival of his
community, his abandoned beliefs, and his dying father.
ABE (supporting) – black male, age 40-55, Saul’s father, a strong, devout
man and caring father; willing to follow his faith no matter what the
consequences.
Film’s director has directed films that premiered at both the Los Angeles
International Children’s Film Festival and Portugal’s U Frame International
Film Festival. Film’s producer has produced films that debuted at both
South by Southwest and the International Student Film Festival Hollywood.
