Casting for an Austin Feature:
“Picturebook” is a multi-media comedy combining live action and
animation about a divorced man trying to connect with his 6-year old son
by way of drawing a picturebook. The project goes astray when a
beautiful neighbor infiltrates the story as princess and comes between
the father and son. This film is being shot in July of 2007 in Austin by
a class from The Austin School of Film. Actors will not be paid but will
get food, publicity, and plenty of fun. We need:
GEORGE: 30-50, Out of shape, Lazy, boring, office dweller. Divorced,
middle aged.
ELI: 6-12, Cute, needs to be able to take direction well. Bright.
BUTCH: 20-30, Aggresive, Rocker, Buff.
