Casting Call for student film “Jigsaw” (Austin, TX)
This is UT Undergraduate Film Student production. Shooting will take place the last week of March with rehearsals beforehand.
1963 – It’s Teddy’s first day back on the job as a detective following a month long break after the murder of his wife. His case: to unveil the murderer of Emily Adams, who was found strangled outside a theater. The story weaves between fiction and reality, contrasting Teddy’s version of the events versus the suspects’.
Roles:
- Teddy – male – mid 20s – 30s
- Mickey – male – 40s – 60s
- Billy – male – 16 – mid 20s
- Frank – male – mid 20s – 30s
- Emily – female – mid 20s – 30s
- Rebecca – female – mid 20s – 30s
Auditions:
- Friday, February 19, 2010 at the UT Campus
- 12 PM – 5 PM
- Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the UT Campus
- 12 PM – 5 PM
Commitment:
- 2 – 3 Rehearsals during March.
- 3 days of shooting
Compensation:
- DVD copy of the final edited project
- Refreshments, Food on the days of the shoot
- End of semester screening for local students, professors, actors and industry professionals
Walk-ins are welcome, however to schedule a time for the audition and a request a copy of the monologue please email me. If you are unable to make the above times, email me anyway and we’ll figure something out.
