Casting Call for Scene from “Why Did I Get Married”
Malik Yoba, Janet Jackson, Tyler Perry, and a terrific script! The
original film was a success in 2007. This is a great opportunity to
create and give dimension to our own take on some very interesting material.
I’m a UT Undergrad Film student producing a scene from the film as an
exercise for class. The scene will be shot on a Canon MiniDV Cam. The
final product will be showcased to other UT Undergrad student directors
who will be producing a variety of shorts of their own for the same
class and future endeavors and a professor that has notable professional
work that has been showcased nationally.
Needed:
1 Male (late 20’s - late 30’s), any ethnicity
1 Female (late 20s - late 30s), any ethnicity
Committment:
2-3 Rehearsals: Tentatively September 21 - October 11
In Class Scene Work: Tuesday, September 30th, evening 6PM
1 Day Shoot: Saturday, October 11th
Compensation: DVD or miniDV copy provided of the final edited product.
