Casting call for independent feature film
Theoretical Entertainment, LLC is casting an independent feature film, Endings, to be shot
on HD in and around Waco, TX from June 3 – July 3.
AUDITION DATES/TIMES:
Friday, April 4 — 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday, April 5 — 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
LOCATION: Baylor University, Castellaw Communications Center, Room 101, Waco, TX
REQUIREMENTS: Audition sides will be provided. Bring headshot and resume.
Endings is a drama about three people converging on the eve of their own demise and
how they form a unique bond that ultimately changes all of their lives in an instant. It
explores love, sacrifice and the true nature of family.
Written and Directed by Chris Hansen, an award-winning writer-director
Produced by Brian Elliott, also an award-winning producer/director.
ROLES:
MARTHA RYAN – 60’s, mother of perpetually recovering drug addict son, Chris Ryan.
Wants the best for her ailing son, but has grown despondent over the years.
MARLON BURGESS – Retired military type—still big and in shape. In charge of strict and
rigorous drug rehab/detox camp where Chris Ryan is forcibly taken.
JAMAL – 20’s, drug addict. Meets and befriends Chris Ryan at drug rehab camp.
FATHER AGOGLIA – A traditional middle-aged or older priest. Consoles Charlie Ferguson,
Emmy’s father, after Emmy runs away.
ZOE MUIR – A police detective. Interrogates Charlie Ferguson about Emmy’s
disappearance.
STUART REASOR – Also a detective, Zoe’s partner. Interrogates Charlie Ferguson about
Emmy’s disappearance.
OTHER: This is a non-union shoot. Some meals provided.
