Synopsis:
Nine year old Matthew spends his weekends locked up in his apartment while his young mother works double shifts. Matthew’s elderly neighbor, spends everyday alone. But Matthew and his neighbor find the cure to their woes by sneaking out together for afternoons on the town.
Characters:
Matthew: Male (7-10) Any ethnicity
A latch-key child who befriends his elderly neighbor
Mr. Zielinski: Male (60+) Caucasian
A lonely, elderly man who befriends his young neighbor
