Casting call for a female part in short film “Artaud et son petit Voyage”
Casting call for a female part in a 25 minute b/w short film,
tentatively titled “Artaud et son petit Voyage”. The film is about
French poet and writer Antonin Artaud, who, in 1937, became convinced
that the world was going to end and that he should wait out the
Apocalypse in Ireland.
The part is open to females, preferably Caucasian, 40-60 years old. The
part is that of an Irish housewife in rural Galway. Some lines are in
Gaelic, so some foreign language experience is preferred, as is the
ability to perform with an Irish accent.
This is a non-paying gig, but actors will receive compensation in the
form of meals and a DVD copy of the film. Shooting dates are tentatively
scheduled to be between December 5th and December 15th, 2009.
