Blue Blazes
‘Blue Blazes’, is a gritty and surreal fantasy about two men who are
forced to posthumously settle a lifelong dispute, only to discover the
one thing more eternal than the human soul is bitterness
Character descriptions:
Billy T – A cowboy in the truest sense. mid 20’s to early 30’s – An
average sized man with a full head of hair. He is slow witted, quiet,
but has a fiery temper.
Jed – mid 30’s – A seventh generation farmer. A tall, bald man. He is
more conversational and relaxed than the cowboy, but just as dumb. Also
prone to violence.
When: Auditions: February 19th - February 23rd by appointment only
Shooting: March 10th - March 14th
Rehearsal: TBA
What: This is a relatively low budget short, however strong performances
are essential, so we are willing to compensate accordingly. Both actors
will receive:
- 20 dollars for every shooting day (4-5 days)
- Two meals a day
- Transportation to and from set (if desired)
- A DVD copy of the film for their reel
- Most importantly, a chance to be in a bad ass movie with an up and
coming director
