Austin, TX Casting Calls: Seeking two actors for Student Scene Exercise
Project: UT MFA Student Scene Exercise for Directing Class
Location: Austin, Texas
The scene is between Mike, a struggling comedian who’s still recovering from a bad breakup, and best friend Trent, who is an inspiring actor who always remains on the positive side of life. The roles are unpaid, but you will also be considered for roles in future projects and will be given a copy of the finished scene.
CASTING:
Mike – 1 male, Ages 22-30
Trent – 1 male, Ages 22-30
Commitment:
Auditions: Saturday Sept. 17th: 9am-11am and/or 6pm to 9pm (please contact for a time slot)
3 rehearsals (must attend all three, if times don’t work out, there could be some flexibility)
Thursday, September 22th from 6pm-9pm
Saturday, September 24th from 6pm-8pm
Tuesday, September 27th from 6pm-9pm
If you are not available at these times, please say so in your submission and additional dates could be available.
Must be available for in class performance, September 27th, a 45 min in-class presentation somewhere between 6-9pm

Compensation: DVD of final edited scene, meals on set
