Auditions for an original musical. Project includes a short film to be produced and then a full production of play will be brought to the stage. Long term project. Non paying. It is the true story of Stevie Taybeck who was hung one hundred years ago for having been the cause of several deaths and suicides in Travis county. There was no trial and she is back.
There are several parts that have not been filled as of this time. Male and Female between the ages of 20 and 60. Must love to sing and carry on. There will be cold reading and some chores to perform so bring your heart and your talent.
Casual atmosphere. Head shot not require nor is a resume. We don’t care what you’ve done only what you are able to do now. There will be photographer on site to supply us the pics needed and to be used on Stevie Taybeck Facebook. Also there will be a video made of auditions for publication on YouTube and Facebook.
Auditions are being held at the Gemini playhouse which is located at 5416 Burleson Road, Suite #209 in South Austin. Call ahead with interest if your are planning on attending.
