Casting Call Details:
AV Club Productions is an award-winning production company employing the talents of ambitious student film makers with the guidance of experienced professionals. The title of this film in particular is “Buzzard.” It is a cerebral sci-fi drama, engaging the concept of a dream passed down genetically from father to son, impelling the dreamer to a moiling cascade of bitter psychosis. The characters in need of cinematic portrayal are as follows:
Malcolm Ornen: The main character, Malcolm is an intelligent, inquisitive 17-year-old, on a search for something authentic amongst vapid symbols and communal platitude.
Nathan Ornen: Malcolm’s father, Nathan is a wise mentor to Malcolm, though he is secured in a vicious battle for his sanity.
Tim Aslo: He is Malcolm’s wisecracking best friend. He has blonde hair, blue eyes, 17 and approx. 5ft10in.
Mr. Zanus: He is Malcolm’s english teacher and occasional academic advisor, concerned with Malcolm’s flippant attitude towards his school work. He has brown hair, blue eyes, approx. 34 years old and approx. 6ft2in.
Dr. Gray: He is Nathan’s imaginary therapist, generated to help himself cope with his mental decline. He has brown hair, blue eyes, approx. 40 years old and 6ft.
