Actors Needed for Untitled Pilot for a 30 minute sitcom
An adopted son inherits his father’s money, much to the chagrin of the
biological children, and begins searching for his calling in life. The
feel is slightly “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” but not as wacky.
We are looking for two actors who will be main characters.
Casting:
Male, Caucasian late 20’s early 30’s. The character (Chase) is a
slightly washed up Male Model. You need to be “pretty” enough to have
once passed as a model but you don’t need to be ripped or have a full
head of hair. You must have good comedic timing, lots of energy and not
easily offended.
Female, Caucasian late 20’s early 30’s. The character (Sam) is
attractive, preferably thin (cause we wrote a bunch of “fat” jokes) and
a heavy partier. The actress needs to be able to play “drunk” very well
and must not be easily offended.
Payment is deferred but meals will be provided and you will get to work
with a professional DP, camera and audio personnel. We will be shooting
on a Panasonic HVX 200 so you’ll have a great looking addition to your
reel.
You will need to be available for short evening rehearsals at least once
a week throughout April.
We will be submitting the pilot to industry professionals, festivals and
posting the pilot via various website.
We will be shooting in Austin, Friday thru Sunday at the end of April or
Early May.
Auditions will be held Tuesday March 31st from 6:30 to 9:30pm.
