Krimson-Noiro Productions is looking for actors for their upcoming internet-series pilot entitled: Twist.

(Please read the entire post, including instructions, before applying…those not following the instructions to the letter will not be considered)

The story follows the complications of a young girl named Jewyl, trying to escape her past, as well as a band of teen-aged thieves struggling to survive under the tutelage of an older, benevolent career criminal and a brutal, sadistic crime boss as they all run out of time as the FBI closes in.

All roles are multi-ethnic (Caucasian, Hispanic, African-American, Asian, etc) and so all are encouraged to apply. The one, unwavering requirement is that all are professional, powerful. and poised to tell the truth. This project is going to live and breath on strong, uncompromising performances.

We will be shooting on weekends, from early morning to late night in various locations indoors and out, in and around Atlanta. The show will involve adult language, situations, and moderate violence.

This project is without outside financing at this time, so Krimson-Noiro Productions is underwriting the entire enterprise, because of this the project is unpaid at the moment…although, food, copy, and credit will be provided, as well as a professional, productive, and creative working environment. The goal is to produce several episodes and shop it around in order to find financing for further installments.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

(Although some characters are noted as underage, all actors are required to be 18 and older)

Jewyl: (17 yrs old, 5″3′ or shorter) Tough, streetwise, and able to kick-butt. She’s small in stature, but can handle herself and anyone else that gets in her way. Her only weakness is that she cares more than she will admit, although is loyal to no one but herself. However, she is at a point in her life where those two points are ready to change. (Marshal arts training, tattoos, and piercing a plus)

Agent Garrett: (Male, mid-30s) A sarcastic, but tough minded FBI agent who is looking to build his case anyway he can, using questionable tactics, people, and anything else he can to forward his goal of success.

Agent Spence: (Any sex, mid-30s) A steady hand, and a ray of light to Garrett’s darker side, Spence sees the world as inherently good, which may or may not be beneficial.

Stick: (Male, 17 yrs old, 5′9″ – 6′0″) The leader of the band of boys, Stick’s size is only matched by his tender heart, although he hides it well because it’s his practicality that guides his decisions and his actions.

Dex: (Male, 16 yrs old, 5′6″ – 5′9″) A key member of the band of boys, he talks tougher than he is and would love to take the lead if he only had the smarts and the size to push Stick aside. Although, his rivalry with Stick is more like a younger brother than it is as adversary.

TJ: (Male, 15 yrs old, below 5′6″) The runt, although like most runts he has the potential to grow beyond his perceived potential. His innocent face and meek demeanor is what helps him to be an effective member of the band of boys, yet, there’s a deeper sadness that makes him vulnerable to outside influence.

Big Frank: (Male, 20s – 30s, BIG) The enforcer. Frank would be playing in the NFL if he wasn’t sworn to protect Venus. He doesn’t speak much, but that’s because he doesn’t have to. And when he does, it counts.

Venus: (Male, mid-30s) The boss. A cross between Marilyn Manson, Boy George, and Jack the Ripper. Flamboyant one minute, ferocious the next. Cut from the same cloth as Drexel Spivey (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uQFm-Lfcqo&feature=related) only with a little more flair and a lot more eyeliner, if pushed the wrong way he will not only cut your heart out, but will make you eat it as he sings a Broadway show tune.

TIMES, DATES & LOCATIONS:

Auditions will be in late January to early February, and shooting to start late February to early March.
