Free Casting Calls and Auditions

Synopsis: A student must decide if fitting in is worth harboring his
family humiliation, or if letting go may finally allow him to find his
place.

Shooting: 20 min HDV, on Saturdays in November, December 2009 and
January 2010. First day of principal photography is November 7, 2009
in Holland, Pennsylvania (roughly 30 minutes from Philadelphia) .

Food will be provided as well travel expenses if necessary. If you’d

CHARACTER BREAKDOWNS:

NICHOLAS BRENNER
LEAD, 18 – 25
The new kid whose family just returned to town. He harbors a dark family secret that makes him standout from the rest of his peers before the first day of school. He is laidback and unsure of who he is.

ALICIA RYAN
LEAD, 18 – 25
She is student council president, beautiful and popular. On the surface, she seems to have everything in the world. However, on the inside she is unhappy and it shows in her detachment. She is dating Matthew Hayes.

STEPHANIE HALL
LEAD, 18 – 25
Her looks scream that if she tried a little bit harder she could possibly fit in with the rest of them, but she prides herself on being the creator of anti-establishment. She is sarcastic, witty, and sometimes a little overpowering, but she knows who she is.

CHRISTINA ALBRIGHT
SUPPORTING, 18 -25
She is a cheerleader who has had her eyes on Matthew Hayes. She is flirtatious and most of the time inappropriate, but that is only because she needs the attention.. Must be willing to wear skimpy cheerleading outfit.

MATTHEW HAYES
SUPPORTING, 18 – 25
He is preppy, athletic, and good-looking. Everyone girl wants him, and having a girlfriend doesn’t stop him from taking giving them what they desire. He is cocky and conceited, and doesn’t plan ever changing.

SEAN BRENNER
SUPPORTING, 22 – 27
Nick’s older brother who lives locally in an apartment. He put himself through college after his family went broke. He is independent and growing up, but his frayed relationship with his brother bothers him. Some resemblance to Nickwould be nice.

LORI SOLITRINSUPPORTING, 25 – 30
She is the guidance counselor at South High.. Lori is naturally beautiful, modest, and a friend to the students who come into her office. She is not an enemy and by no means like some of the students.

CAROL HELLER
SUPPORTING, 45 – 55
She is the wired and quirky chemistry teacher at South High.
