Seeking five actors for Northwestern University short film “Skin Deep” (Evanston, IL)

Seeking five actors (One woman, two men, two teens) for “Skin Deep,” a Northwestern University Studio 22 Funded New Student Grant.

Synopsis: Clarissa is a gorgeous High School art teacher who is constantly being judged based on her looks and not her artistic talent. She finds solace in the one male who respects her opinion, Zeke, an extremely talented High school freshman. But when Clarissa discovers a compromising picture of herself in Zeke’s drawing pad, the mutual respect the two have for each other is brought into question.

The film is scheduled to shoot the weekend of April 22-25th.

Clarissa: A gorgeous but objectified art teacher. 25-35. Beautiful, energetic.
Zeke: An abused, misunderstood artist. 12-18. Nerdy, understated.
Shawn: A football player and bully. 14-20. Large, athletic build.
Scott: A teaching assistant in the Science Department. 25-35. Handsome, womanizing.
Jim: Scott’s friend, also a TA. 25-35. Charismatic, manipulative.

Auditions will be held on Friday and Saturday, March 12th and 13th at Louis Hall (on the Northwestern campus), Room 118 from 3-8pm.
