Casting Call Details:
“Blackout” is a short dramatic film about Kemi, a Tanzanian immigrant to Philadelphia who is struggles with past memories on her daughter’s 8th birthday. A sudden power outage at the end of the day becomes the inspiration for an impromptu shadow play, giving Kemi a chance to confront her marriage, her heritage and herself.
Blackout is a Temple University graduate thesis film.
It is Non-Union.
