Graduate Masters film student casting for short film “Relativity”
Graduate Masters film student casting for short film “Relativity” – Directed by Obinwa Summors
This project will be shot in High Def.
Unfortunately, this is a non-paying job. However, actors participating will be provided lunch/dinner. 4 Shoot days, with no longer than 6 hours per day, divided over two weeks. All participants will be provided a DVD and MPEG file of their work.
Relativity: The story of a mother and daughter coping with the crisis of the daughter’s illness. The daughter conceals her illness, jeapordizing a project both mother and daughter have worked on; but was the daughter’s purpose of hiding her sickness more through selflessness or personal motivation.
Casting for the following roles.
African American Female: Age: 25-35 – Role: Daughter suffering from brain tumor.
African American Female: Age: 40-50 – Role: Mother/Television Executive
Caucasian Female: Age: 40-60: Role: Domineering Television Producer.
All interested persons must be able to shoot friday 09/11 from noon to 5p, as well as sunday 09/13 from 3p to 6p. Additional shoot dates include the weekend of the following week.
Casting will be held Wednesday 09/09 from 1pm to 7pm. Appointment times will be distributed upon email verification. Please email with the role of interest and your name and age. I will, in return, email a response with your audition time and directions. Look foward to hearing from you!!!
