Drexel University is casting for its latest and largest production yet, “THE BOY’S GUIDE”:
An uncool sixth grader discovers a dated self-help book entitled The Boy’s Guide to becoming a Man and is taught life lessons by the suave and mysterious ideal man. However, it’s soon apparent how much society has changed since 1957.
Shooting will take place in and around the Philadelphia area from Friday August 1st to Monday August 4th.

Roles being cast:
JACKIE
A book smart sixth grader hoping to win popularity and the girl of his dreams with the help of The Boy’s Guide to becoming a Man.
THE IDEAL MAN
A classy 50’s gentleman, early thirties, and the author of The Boy’s Guide incarnate. He’s got the answers Jackie needs, but are they relevant in today’s world?
BULLY
A tall, brutish thirteen year old who owns the schoolyard and harbors a grudge against Jackie.
MICHELLE
A pretty eleven year old and the object of Jackie’s desire.
LIBRARIAN
A bitter crank of a woman in her early fifties who hates children, and books for that matter.
TEACHER
An attractive female teacher, late twenties, who must deal with the misguided sexual advances of an 11 year old.
