Actors needed for short film “Wonders” (Philadelphia, PA)
“Wonders” about a simple man who lives a simple life, obtains a pair of magic gloves, when his life and the lives of all those he encounters is turned upside down.
Auditions will be held in West Philadelphia/Drexel University on the 6th, 7th, and 8th of January.
Actors will be provided with transportation costs, along with meals, refreshments and a copy of the finished film!
ROLES BEING AUDITIONED:
MARK PRESTON
Man about 35, husband and father and creative consultant. Must make the decision of saving his own life or sacrificing himself, using the gloves to save his family.
JANET PRESTON
Woman about 34, wife to Mark and mother to their son Jon. She is the voice of reason, not only of Mark’s life, but of the film.
JON PRESTON
Boy about 9, the son of Mark and Janet, a quiet child who enjoys baseball.
LOUISA
Woman, middle-aged, attractive, and tough as nails, she is Mark’s business partner, and is not one to accept failure.
OFFICER BILLARDE
Man about 38, a dedicated and caring cop, he has to tell Mark bad news.
MS. HYNN
Woman about 63, she’s the catalyst who passed the gloves to Mark.
CRIPPLED MAN
Man, homeless and crippled, never begs for money just food and is affected by Mark and the power of the gloves.
