Philadelphia, PA Casting Calls: Casting call for short film “The Red Coat”

Casting call for short film “The Red Coat”.
A short film set in rural Pennsylvania during the American Revolutionary War. The wife of a Continental Soldier cares for an injured British officer, and they forge a tentative friendship during this time of war. Principle photography will take place in mid-March 2011 and will likely consist of circa 3 shooting days.

AUDITIONS WILL TAKE PLACE AT DREXEL UNIVERSITY ON:
2/18, 2/19, 2/20

The roles we are seeking to fill are:

CORPORAL NATHANIEL PRICE. Male. Caucasian, English. Late 20s—mid 30s.
PREFERABLY ENGLISH OR MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM WITH A SOLID ENGLISH ACCENT. An educated young officer in the Royal Army during the American Revolution. After being separated from his battalion, he is cared for by a Patriot’s wife.

CAPTAIN JOHN ANDREWS. Male. 40s.
The husband of Caroline Andrews, who has been away fighting in the Continental Army under General George Washington. Silent role.
