Actors aged 30-43 no experience needed. This is a , no budget short film .
It’s a great opportunity for actors looking to build their film resume. This is not a paying gig but an opportunity for everyone to make a movie, have fun, and gain valuable experience.
Title: Cut Off
Approximate running time 30 minutes.
Plot: A married couple spend the day together at a local park trying to work out their failing marriage. On their way home, they cut off a pick up truck, apologizing to the driver. But a simple apology is not enough. He wants more, He wants their lives
Synopsis: For years, Leroy and Martha Hector have been faking cut offs to unsuspecting travelers who pass through their small farming town. A town that has not produced any crops in years. They rob and kill their victims to buy food to eat. But why keep traveling out of town when dinner keeps coming to town ?
Actors needed
Sharon Fuller- married to David Fuller, petite-medium build, caucasian, 5′3″-5′8″, 30-43 years old, catholic, elementary school teacher, very loving and devoted wife, and community oriented.
David Fuller-married to Sharon Fuller, medium build, caucasian, 5′7″-5′11″, 30-43 years old, catholic, high school english teacher, very loving and devoted husband, and community oriented. Non violent personality.
Leroy Hector-30-43 years old, medium build, caucasian, 5′7″ – 5′ 11″, spent most of his life in prison for violent crimes.He is a farmer, violent, short tempered, has experimented with cannibalism and hates the world. He will stop at nothing to feed his family.
Martha Hector-30-43 years old, medium to full-figured caucasian, 5′ 3″-5′ 6″, socially inept, degrading to others she thinks are better than her, sociopath, violent and needy.
We hope to begin shooting this film on July 23 and wrap on August 23, weather or not it will be shot during the week or weekends has not yet been determined
We hope to have this movie screened at the Patterson movie theater
