Casting Call for Short Film “Price to Pay” – Atlanta, GA
Casting Call Details:
We are a small crew looking for actors/actresses for our short film. There is no pay, but it is a great opportunity to enhance your reel/resume. All cast will receive credit. Our crew has worked on various professional projects around Georgia, and we are looking to build our portfolio. This film will be released on Youtube/Vimeo and possibly entered in film festivals. This film will be shot in the metro Atlanta Area
The film is called “Price to Pay”. It is a Psychological Thriller/Drama about a woman on the run after committing a murder. Below are the character breakdowns. Please send your headshot, resume, and reel. Please put your name AND the name of the character that you are submitting. Those without a reel may be asked to audition.
Main Cast
ADA LEE (Female, Asian or Middle Eastern, Age Range 20’s-30’s)- Main Character of the film. A strong willed but “questionable” character. Actress selected for this role must be able to portray a “semi-delusional” person.
ADRIEN RAMIREZ (Male, Hispanic, Age Range 30’s-40’s) A well seasoned detective that is very serious about his job but takes a lighthearted approach. He has been put on the case to catch the killer.
NICO TAYOR (Male, African America, Age Range 30-40’s) Adrien Ramirez’s partner. He is a hardworking detective, but he is newer to the job and it shows. He usually takes his partner’s lead. He is all about “catching the bad guy” and “doing the right thing”.
Supporting Cast
BRE HARRISON (Female, African American, Age Rance 20’s-30’s) Ada’s best friend. She is Ada’s main support system, sort of the “mothering type”.
KAREN BROWN (Female, African American, Age Range 30-40’s) Ada’s psychologist, she takes her job seriously and tries her best to help her patients. She is a bit stern.
ANN LEE (Female, Asian or Middle Eastern, Age Range 30-40’s) Ada’s older sister. A bit coldhearted and distant. Doesn’t have a great relationship with her sister.
