Casting Call for Short Film “All Quiet on the Front Line” – Detroit, MI

Casting Call Details:
The Lead Role: Ida Tehrani is an 18 years old tall, thin, and brunet Iranian/American girl who is living in Novi/MI. Her parents immigrated to America after the 1978 Islamic revolution. She speaks English fluently and with American accent. She is smart, energetic, temperamental, and very outspoken. Ida is determined to become a journalist and enter one of America’s elite colleges.

Pirooz Tehrani is a 40-55 years old Iranian engineer living in Novi/MI along with his wife Parvin and his 18 years old daughter Ida. He holds a PhD in engineering and works for one of the auto companies in Michigan. He and his family immigrated to America after the 1978 Iranian revolution. He is a well-educated man from an upper middle class family, however he is conservative and protective of his wife and daughter and his authority is clearly sensed in the house. (Must be able to speak Farsi)

Parvin Tehrani is a 38-50 years old Iranian woman. She used to be a teacher, but currently she is laid off and spends her days being a good obedient homemaker. (must be able to speak Farsi)
